“The summery, slow-motion dance anthem comes with flashes of kalimba rhythms and thick, layered vocal melodies in the swirling and emotive mix.” – Flood
“It’s a really uplifting single… from those punchy synth stabs and woozy melodies that come just before the chorus’ climactic hit, to the way Flint Eastwood’s vocal twists and turns alongside the production.”–Pilerats
“Finely tuned to Ivy’s plucky, bubbly and vibrant production skills, Close To You is a crisp return to form from the producer.”– AAA Backstage

DOGS!
We all love them. Alice Ivy really loves her dog, Lexie, in particular. She loves her so much, in fact, that she got a tattoo of her eating a bag of chicken nuggets on her arm. We’re not joking.
If that weren’t already the best thing ever, Lexie now stars in Alice’s brand-new video for her killer latest single, ‘Close To You’ feat. Flint Eastwood. The clip follows both Alice and Lexie as they have a fun-packed adventure day across the sunny shores of their hometown of Geelong – taking long walks by the beach, saying hello to other doggos, eating ice creams… Heaven.
‘Close To You’ has received nothing but praise since its release back in February. The song has garnered widespread praise from music media outlets, as well as picking up high rotation on triple j, who have long been supporters of Alice Ivy, enhancing her reputation as one most exciting, rising musical talents in the country.
On top of that, tickets for Alice Ivy’s ‘Close To You’ National Tour are selling gangbusters. Supported by her friend, Like A Version collaborator, and the most fearsome force in Australian hip hop, Miss Blanks, the tour will kick off May 17 in Adelaide, and will head to capital and major cities around the country. Tickets are on sale now!
Having released her debut album I’m Dreaming in February 2018 (which was recently long listed for the prestigious Australian Music Prize), electronic producer Ivy has performed more than 50 shows worldwide including Australian national tours with Flight Facilities, Vera Blue & The Jungle Giants, SXSW 2018, Falls Festival & Splendour In The Grass.
Alice Ivy’s eclectic signature sound spans sample-influenced soul, hip-hop and electronic pop that she brings to life live as a multi-instrumentalist. With a trio of past singles on high rotation at triple j and a reputation for explosive live performances, Alice Ivy is fast becoming recognised as one of Australia’s most versatile and exhilarating artists.
Alice Ivy is also an A+ dog mum, and Lexie is a very good girl.

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
