The Australian Music Industry Network (AMIN), the national coalition of Australia’s peak contemporary music bodies, is today calling for applications for a newly created Project Manager role that will play a central role in delivering the organisation’s 2025 –2027 strategic priorities, including the exploration of a new National Regional Touring Network.
The recruitment coincides with a renewed strategic direction for AMIN and a relaunch of the organisation’s brand, marking a new era of connectedness and collaboration across state and territory music sectors.
AMIN was established in 1998 and brings together eight state and territory peak bodies — MusicACT, MusicNSW, MusicNT, MusicSA, Music Tasmania, Music Victoria, QMusic and West Australian Music (WAM). Together, AMIN works to build a sustainable, equitable and thriving music industry across Australia.
Quote attributed to an AMIN spokesperson: “AMIN has been a strong advocate for connected and vibrant state and territory music sectors for nearly three decades.”
“Our industry voice represents local artists, venues, music businesses and industry professionals and our network of organisations opens pathways and provides critical industry development and services.”
“AMIN is really pleased to be supported by Music Australia to explore the creation of a new national regional touring framework and strengthen cross-border collaborations, programs and initiatives.”
The new Project Manager role, based in South Australia, will lead the delivery of AMIN’s key national initiatives across 2025–2027, including:
– Investigating a new National Regional Touring Network.
– Growing Industry Development opportunities across each state and territory.
– Building cross-border programs that elevate local music industries and drive regional engagement.

AMNPLIFY – DB

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
