A solidified hitmaker in the hip-hop landscape, Aminé has bounced from strength to strength in the past twelve months. Earlier this year, he released his third solo album 13 Months of Sunshine, a body of work that doubles as a soulful exploration of his Ethopian heritage, identity, and introspection, which earned acclaim from the likes of Dazed, NPR, Hypebeast, Clash, and hailed as a “reminder of the strengths that separate Aminé from the rest of the pack” by Pitchfork.
On 13 Months of Sunshine, Aminé reevaulates what he wanted to say on his songs. He celebrates his success and mourns family members and friends gone from this world. Every line on the 16-song album passes the “small reading room test” from the Waxahatchee-featuring indie pop beauty of ‘History’ to the pysch-synth invocation of the Toro y Moi-assisted album closer ‘Images’. On 13 Months of Sunshine, Aminé presents his most exacting vision to date, full of flowers both fully bloomed and on their last legs. It may not always be sunny, he seems to say, but plants need water from stormy days too.
13 Months of Sunshine followed on from his 2023 collaborative venture with Kaytranada titled KAYTRAMINÉ, a mixtape which showcased which showcased the pair’s innate chemistry and musical bond through danceable pop-rap and hip-house tracks including ‘4EVA’ with Pharrell Williams and ‘Rebuke’, with both exploring a new territory in a way that hadn’t been previously embraced in their longtime friendship.
Touching down in January 2026 and following a huge run of over 43 shows across the US, UK, and EU, the Austrlaian leg of Aminé’s Tour de Dance tour marks his first run of Australian dates in three years and fourth time touring the country in his extensive career, bringing his energetic stage presence to venues in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, and Perth.

AMNPLIFY – DB

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
