Hailing from the Western shores of Australia, Georgia Reed is renowned for her outstanding vocals and haunting songwriting. It’s hard to move past her recent tracks “Young” and “Wonderland” but yet again, Reed has given us the fruit of her talents in her soon to be released single “Colours.”
“Colours” demands the listeners attention from the first note blended with Reed’s vocals. She explains, “I only ever wish for a listener to get an emotional connection to my music. I want the listener to feel what I feel when I write and perform my music. This song is about my experience in my school years, being bullied and feeling alone and isolated. This is something so many people experience and unfortunately some people don’t make it through.”
“Colours” was recorded and mixed with longtime dream team James Newhouse in WA’s South West and Sean Cook in LA who together, consistently bring life to music. This track is no exception, with captivating and magnetic sounds transcending into a powerful roar that hints at Reed’s Florence and The Machine influence.
Following her recent success, in 2019, Reed has made London her new home where she is busy writing and recording her next body of work.

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
