“A band awash with strong songwriting and performance craft with an honest, southern-fried feel tinged with alt. country, Americana stylings.” Scenestr
“Good Will Remedy harness all that’s good from country, alt country and rock and mix it all together in a southern fried feel-good alt-countryesque Americana-style all their own.” Countrytown
“Steeped in cool Americana and alt-rockroots – both charmingly Petty and satisfyingly triumphant.” B-Sides and Badlands
“With its breezy vibe and easy groove, ‘Juanita’ is pure sonic sunshine built to usher in the hazy days of summer; it’s like the cool drink in hand at a backyard party.” Mother Church Pew Apr 19
“Filled with buoyant harmonies, and good time country licks. The tex-mex, handclapping good time rings throughout – Lebihan has a voice that instantly warms your soul. His voice rings with the truth of Americana, filled with bluesy inflections and that Austin honky tonk sound.” Staccatofy

Brisbane alt-country band Good Will Remedy reveal their new single ‘Bleed’, the third in a series of releases that will culminate in their sixth album later in 2023.
Good Will Remedy have been serenading and rocking Australian audiences for half a dozen years now. In that time most bands might release a couple of albums, but the prolific and hard working GWR already have five albums under their belt, with number six set to hit stores and digital streaming in the fourth quarter of 2023.
The first tantalising taste of the new album came in the form of ‘Jay’, a song that pays homage to the raw sunshine sound of Brisbane icons The Go-Betweens and Halfway. The song has featured on ABC Country’s Grass Roots, Apple Music’s Southern Craft playlist, CMT and Sunburnt Country Music.
Second single ‘May Day’ (which premiered on Dirt Music on 2SER, with Stuart Coupe) found GWR celebrating their indie rock influences, from the Pixies-like rolling bass guitar intro through to the rousing, power pop chorus hook in the vein of The Smithereens. ‘May Day’ is a song about making plans on your terms – a circle on the calendar and a reverse-engineered exit strategy.
The new single ‘Bleed’ is set to be the opening track on the soon-to-be released sixth album titled Sunshine State, and for the band it is one of the songs that really came to life in the studio. From the tight guitar rhythm in the chorus to the singalong backing vocal, ‘Bleed’ really rocks, making it the perfect choice for the album opener.
‘Bleed’ is a song about frustrated devotion, a song that asks – ‘what more do I need to do?’ and stems from songwriter Will Lebihan’s observations of when relationship frustrations boil over. Kicking off like a lost classic from The Cars, the song blossoms into an anthemic, catchy single – with ringing country-rock guitars soundtracking the ode to undying love and devotion.
GWR are again working with local filmmaker Hayden Lowry on a video for ‘Bleed’, a video that promises something delightfully different….once again!
The band celebrate the release of ‘Bleed’ with two single release parties. On July 1st, GWR will join the third instalment of Caloundra Country at the Norton Music Factory in Caloundra alongside Southbound and a number of powerhouse country artists. On July 15th they’ll join local rockers Upsize to help them launch their latest album at Back Dock Arts in the Valley. Further show and ticket details can be found via the Good Will Remedy Facebook page.
With over 1000 live shows to their name, GWR have left an indelible impression on audiences at the big two of Australian country music; the Tamworth Country Music Festival and the Gympie Music Muster, as well as touring with the iconic Joe Camilleri and The Black Sorrows.
The bands 2021 single ‘Messin’ with My Head (feat. Viliani)’ hit #1 on the AMRAP Metro Airplay charts with previous releases ‘Lightning Bolt’ (2021) and ‘Ghost Town’ (2021) both making the Top 50 Countrytown Music Chart.
Singles ‘Anzac Day’ and ‘Caroline’ (2019) reached #3 and #7 respectively on AMRAP Regional Community Radio’s most downloaded song charts and the music videos for ‘Anzac Day’, ‘Lightning Bolt’ and ‘Messin’ with My Head’ have all been aired on CMT, with the latter video being nominated for numerous video and best original song awards, from Melbourne to Berlin!
‘Bleed’ is out now via Bandcamp, streaming services and AMRAP for our community radio friends across Australia.

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
