Melbourne’s latest punk/alt-rock outfit, Oceans Inside premiere their newest video, Wasteland at Amnplify today.
Hot off the release of their debut single, “Paint The Sky”, which charted at #3 on the Triple J Unearthed Punk Charts, Oceans Inside are back with a second track to solidify their position in the Melbourne alt-rock scene.
This truly unique four-piece are breaking stereotypes and challenging genre boundaries to develop a perfect balance between punk, alt-rock and 90s hardcore. Oceans Inside are doing things their way when it comes to music, and they aren’t apologising for it.
Wasteland, which was recorded and produced by Beau McKee, brings with it a feeling of 90s nostalgia, encompassing all of the best bits of the decade.
With powerful female vocals, backed by an eccentric blend of aggressive, yet technical guitar and a grinding bass, Wasteland features the raw, energetic sounds typically associated with metal, while keeping the vocals clean, controlled and powerful.
The music video, which was produced by Cian Marangos (who has worked with bands like Deez Nuts and Stuck Out) features explosive shots of the band performing the track, giving the audience a taste of the captivatingly entertaining stage presence that four piece are soon to debut.
Wasteland debuts on November 9 and will be available on Spotify, iTunes and Triple J Unearthed. Oceans Inside will be supporting Steadfast at Last Chance Rock & Roll Bar on Friday November 23.

“AMNPLIFY PREMIERE”
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
