Do you like your Rock n Roll that swings like a dinosaur’s tail? If so, Brisbane’s alt-rock band, ‘Patient Lounge’ is for you. The last time we heard from these merchants of heavy was via the single ‘Treehouse’. Now for the new single ‘Hard Truth’ from their forthcoming EP.
“We have to many friends who have given up on their dreams early and work jobs they fucking hate. This song is telling our inner child not to give up and not to follow in the footsteps of our mates that are miserable 5 days a week” – Zach Eather (Vocals)

We’re pretty sure many people out there can relate to that statement. Since forming in 2019, Patient Lounge already has an impressive resume, supporting internationally acclaimed acts Haken (UK), Pop Evil (USA) and Australian rock heavyweights Wolfmother. The boys also managed to squeeze in Dead of Winter Festival, showcasing at BIGSOUND 2020, multiple interstate tours and kicked 2021 in the teeth by finishing off last year with headline shows as part of Brisbane’s epic Valley Fiesta and a sold-out single launch at Tomcat.
“Another rocket firing up the ascendancy of Aussie prog metal alongside names like Voyager and Karnivool, if you haven’t zeroed in on Patient Lounge being the next big deal, now is your chance.” (Hysteria Mag, 2020)
Patient Lounge have nailed it again with the ‘Hard Truth’ single with a full aural assault on our senses. They bring their trademark authenticity into the recording process. Big guitars, shredding leads and heavy hitting drums. Turn this up and join the ‘Patient Lounge’ army. It’s time to moblise!
The ‘HARD TRUTH’ will be out on all digital platforms 16th September

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
