Tokyo Art Museum is Josh Lloyd, a guy from Sydney who’s never been to Japan.
‘Don’t Want To Let You Down,’ is the groovy emo-pop tune you never knew you needed. What started as an ode to people-pleasers and peacekeepers turned into a deeper look into what we as humans are doing to the planet. This track is somewhat of a departure to his previous releases.
“This track is considerably different to my usual moody stuff, it’s more of a groovy pop song. It started its life as a song about keeping the peace and attempting to keep those close to you happy but it ended up sparking up a bigger conversation about the planet and how it’ll come back to bite us if we don’t take care of it.” Josh Lloyd

This project was spawned via the same set of circumstances that stranded many creatives around the world. You guessed it -COVID-19! Not being able to play with his band, Josh ended up writing, producing and performing everything himself.
After spending 2020 recording his songs, 2021 saw the release of the first T.A.M single ‘Slip Away’ an emotional bop about the insecurities that come with love.
Fast forward to 2022, Josh has 2 more singles and an EP under his belt ready to start the new chapter of Tokyo Art Museum with his new single ‘Don’t Want To Let You Down.’
Besides having the ability of making hook-static tunes Josh is a multi instrumentalist – guitar, keys, drums etc etc. Josh is also a music teacher who’s guiding the next generation of creatives. Very cool indeed.
‘DON’T WANT TO LET YOU DOWN’ will be available across all digital platforms 5th August

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
