Benjamino, Australia’s soulful singer-songwriter and producer, is back again with another delightful ditty. ‘Play Her’ tells the feel-good underdog story of the songwriter’s mysterious neighbour; starting from humble beginnings with society tossing her to the curb, only to emerge as an underworld lynchpin in her twilight years. Underneath the story is Benjamino’s most upbeat track to date, showing off his stylish production in a blend of retro influences like Latin, funk and Vegas show-tunes all packaged in a modern Indietronica sound.
To accompany the release, Benjamino will be once again teaming up with director Declan Arrighi to create a music video for ‘Play Her’. Featuring a stunning gold suit, questionable dance moves and a rivalry with a performing puppet, this video perfectly fulfils the Vegas show vibes found in the song. This video comes of the back of their last successful work together, Golden Age, which appeared on MTV high rotation and Melbourne’s 1700 in the middle of 2021. The music video will be released worldwide on Thursday December 2nd.

AMNPLIFY – DB

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
