Jungaji, along with his talented band, has crafted a visually captivating Official Music Video for the “River Girl” single, with playful scenes, upbeat rhythms, and a celebration of music and creativity – premiering exclusively on music news platform, AMNplify. “River Girl” comes alive through the vibrant visuals, showcasing Jungaji’s compelling style and the song’s infectious energy.

Jungaji said “The River Girl videoclip was filmed on beautiful Jagera country just outside of Fernvale by Twin Bridges. There’s a lot of components to the recording of this song that we wanted to correlate and marry up with country and illuminate the beauty of the running water – ‘banawurun’ (running water) in Yalanji language.

I usually talk about a lot of extremely serious things, but this song is a celebration of love and on the day we were all just having so much fun with the pink flamingo and plastic instruments, just having a dance we were having a mad time.”

The video was Directed, Produced, Filmed & Edited by Glen Hunt (Jungaji’s bass player) and Tane Matheson. Jungaji’s next live show is at Queensland Performing Arts Centre at Southbank as part of the annual Warriors event during ‘Clancestry’ in July, joining Andrew Gurruwiwi Band, J-MILLA, and Radical Son for a night of soul-stirring music and moving storytelling. From rhythmic beats to heartfelt lyrics, this concert promises an immersive journey through sound and emotion.
