Emerging Broome local Amy Pania unveils her bold new project Amyrah, introducing the artistic shift with “Inside Out” – an emotive debut that blends soul, pop, and indie into something deeply intimate yet expansively cinematic. The single marks the beginning of a new chapter for the artist, one rooted in honesty, vulnerability, and personal transformation.

Amyrah shares, “‘Inside Out’ is the rawest I’ve ever been. I wrote it at the bottom of an emotional pit, struggling with my mental health and these cycles of anger that left me seeing red, but creating the song became the moment I finally climbed out.”

Written during a period of significant personal upheaval and recorded in Auckland with producer Aubrie Mitchel (mixed in Sydney by Eric J Dubowsky – Flume, Dua Lipa, Flight Facilities), “Inside Out” stands as a defining moment for the rising artist. The track captures the emotional weight of this transition, channeling years of internal tension into something cathartic, and expressive.

Expanding on the experience, Amyrah explains, “‘Inside Out’ is a really honest look at my mental health and the patterns I’ve spent years trying to break. At the time, I felt like I was stuck at the bottom of an emotional pit, overwhelmed, angry, and sometimes seeing red without knowing why. Writing this track with Aubrie and Paige gave me space to finally let it all out; they created such a supportive environment that the song just happened naturally, without any pressure to fit a sound or genre. In the process of creating it, I felt myself start to climb out of that place. It was painful, but it was also healing. That’s why this song means so much to me.”

The release is accompanied by a striking music video that extends the emotional core of the track into a visual form. Translating themes of inner turmoil, release, and renewal, the clip leans into mood, movement, and raw expression – offering a vivid window into the world that shaped Amyrah’s debut.
