‘An album that feels like an exhale after a few years of holding your breath’ – Double J, #9 Best Albums of 2023
Known for her transformative live performances and truthful storytelling, critically acclaimed singer-songwriter Angie McMahon is one of Australia’s best musical talents. Following demand for tickets by fans nationwide, who sold out several dates last week upon going on sale, Frontier Touring are pleased to announce additional new shows in Sydney and Melbourne for the ‘Slow Mover’ singer – who launches her Making It Through Tour across Australia and New Zealand this May/June.
With a performance on Sunday 12 May officially sold out, McMahon will now perform a 2nd & final show at the Sydney Opera House Concert Hall on Monday 13 May – making it two shows back-to-back at Australia’s most iconic live venue.
Meanwhile in McMahon’s hometown in VIC, two performances at the legendary Forum Melbourne (Wednesday 29 & Friday 31 May) are also sold out. A 3rd & final show has today been added for the same venue, McMahon taking to the stage on Tuesday 28 May. Fans attending the just-announced show are in for a treat, with the addition of South Africa-born, Melbourne-based musician Ruby Gill as special guest (Tues 28th only).
Tickets for both new Sydney and Melbourne shows will go on sale Tuesday 27 February (3pm local time) via frontiertouring.com/
All other previously announced shows are on sale now, and selling fast… don’t delay! Brisbane: very limited tickets remain… you have been warned!
Nominated by triple j for Australian Album of the Year in 2023 and a finalist for the 2024 Australian Music Prize (AMP), Angie McMahon’s latest national trek comes in support of her transformative and stunning second album, Light, Dark, Light Again. Just last week the singer conquered triple j’s globally-watched Like A Version, with her take on Australian Crawl’s 1983 classic ‘Reckless (Don’t Be So)’ – watch here.
Don’t miss the unforgettable Angie McMahon, live on stage… new tickets on sale Tuesday!

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
