Fans eagerly awaited his debut EP Ellesmere Street, and now have the chance to see the producer live in Perth, Sydney and Melbourne this July/August.
Stemming from Western Australia, Dawson is one of the country’s most exciting and refreshing up-and-coming electronic producers.
Ellesmere Street is a sonic experience of Dawson’s ability to bind acoustic and electronic instruments, and merge the talents of producer, musician and songwriter. Two years in the making, Angus took the time to create an EP that is both his vision, and refines his own sound. The result is a meticulously crafted product that articulates who he is as an artist, songwriter and producer.
Not shy to the stage, Dawson has some impressive live achievements under his belt, after amassing over a million collective streams and supporting the likes of Emma Louise, Vera Blue, Japanese Wallpaper, Boo Seeka, Thelma Plum and Andy Bull, Angus Dawson is now heading out on his own national headline tour.
Having spent 3 years honing his craft as an indie come electronic producer/singer-songwriter, the time has finally arrived for Angus Dawson to release his debut EP Ellesmere Street. The project culminates years of work into a 5-track release that showcases Dawson’s signature evocative and brooding sound that has been featured across triple j, triple j unearthed, Indie Shuffle, FBI Radio, Majestic Casual, Hilly Dilly and Nest HQ. Ellesmere Street was self-produced and mixed by Sydney’s Tim Watt (Golden Features, Katy Steele).
Dawson is an expert at crafting a textual wash of brooding indie-electronica that’s so beautifully harrowing.
Joining him will be Riley Pearce, Anna O Music, Billy Fox, Chymes, JunoKind and LUNA MAY. as well as DJ sets from CRU CUTS, Yeo and Lilt.

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.

I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
