Directed by Hannah Lux Davis (Ariana Grande & The Weeknd Love Me Harder, Marshmello & Anne-Marie Friends) and with Anne-Marie referencing some of her favourite anthems from the early noughties throughout the track, the official video pays a tongue-in-cheek homage to the accompanying, iconic official videos to the respective anthems: Britney Spears’ …Baby One More Time, N-Sync’s Bye Bye Bye, Jay-Z’s 99 Problems and Nelly’s Ride Wit Me.
Released at the end of April, Anne-Marie’s debut album Speak Your Mind and new single 2002 have soared up charts, with 2002 sitting at #3 on the Shazam AU charts, #12 on Apple Music AU, #18 on iTunes AU and #38 Spotify AU charts.
