Western Sydney Hip Hop/R&B artist, annelise.’s new single, ‘Rearrangement’, is a super slinky expression of girl power for the 21st Century.

“I’m from the Western Suburbs of Sydney,” said annelise.. “In the media there’s often prejudice about where I come from, but we’re living lives over here that are diverse and rich with all the different people who call this place home. I’m inspired by the people around me, they’re what helps make me strong and, as a young woman and an artist, I want to inspire others. That’s why I use my music to flex my power and ‘Rearrangement’ is about all of that.”

ABOUT annelise.

Born and raised in South West & Western Sydney, annelise. is a Hip-Hop/R&B songstress who embodies the essence of the late 90’s/early 00’s through her vocals & instrumentals. 

After falling in love with singing and performing at the age of 5, annelise. was able to continually showcase her love for music, even getting the chance to record with Delta Goodrem on her 10th Anniversary ‘Innocent Eyes’ album. 

After high school, she attended JMC Academy where she learned to write lyrics and got the opportunity to perform more regularly. At the present day she is performing solo – most notably at the Lansdowne for Breaking Sound’s showcase – and is working on new material and collaborating with new and upcoming artists on joint projects and features.

Inspired by the likes of Timbaland, Aaliyah, Missy Elliot, Beyonce & Michael Jackson, annelise. showcases her love for the nostalgic sounds of her childhood through a modern lens whilst continuing to pay homage to a time that shaped her into the woman she is today.
