Argentine superstar rapper, singer and songwriter Nicki Nicole debuts the final installment of her new documentary this evening, highlighting the most listened to album in Argentina, her third studio album “ALMA” – watch here! The release of the album has brought her explosive streaming count to 1.8 Billion to date.
In this second chapter of ‘El Documental de ALMA’, following part one (watch here), the trailblazing 22-year old talks the creation of her most versatile, authentic and personal project yet; an intimate mix of genres, sounds, and feelings, including her snappy smash “8AM” with Young Miko (watch the video here) among other solo and collaboration standouts with Milo J and Rels B.
This week, Nicki Nicole will headline five sold-out shows at Movistar Arena in Buenos Aires. After immediately selling out 40,000 tickets and the first four dates upon release, the singer announced a fifth date. Nicki will head to her hometown of Rosario for a special, sold-out show at Rosario Amphitheater on September 29th. She will also appear at Billboard Latin Week in Miami following her two breakout US appearances at Coachella and This Ain’t No Picnic. All summer long, Nicki has taken Europe by storm with stand-out performances including Lollapalooza Paris, La Velada del Año de Ibai and a powerful performance of her single “8AM” at the Kings League Tournament finals at the Metropolitan Stadium in Madrid.

Traversing diverse musical territory on “ALMA” (listen to the album here), the Harper’s Bazaar-cosigned “musical powerhouse” combines imaginative reggaetón beats to irresistible electro-pop and velvety ballads, highlighting the FADER-deemed “dexterous shape-shifting MC”’s sonics with a matured, personal touch. The 10-tracks are a panoramic view of personal sanación — the Spanish word for healing. Nicki reveals how, after an emotional downturn, she was born anew. As much a concept album as it is a true story, ALMA — which translates to soul — centers on the connection between spirit, heart and mind. It’s represented by the recurring motif of a triangle, inside which all three components, when thoughtfully cultivated, can harmoniously coexist.
“When I heard Hip-hop for the first time,” Nicki shared with American Songwriter celebrating the 50 years of Hip Hop alongside Tierre Whack, Hannibal Burress and others, “I knew it was going to have a significant impact on my life. Listening to artists like Tupac, Biggie, and Mary J. Blige truly inspired me, and today their music helps me perfect my craft as an artist.”
Stardom came whiplash-fast for the 22-year-old singer, rapper and songwriter. Nicki Nicole’s 2019 hit “Wapo Traketero” sent her soaring at full tilt. She quickly reached major milestones, releasing two full-length albums and multiple singles. Collaborations were wild: Camilo, Christina Aguilera, Becky G, Eladio Carrión, Mon Laferte, Rauw Alejandro, Bizarrap, Trueno and more. Accolades abound: Latin Grammy noms; a Premios Lo Nuestro win for Best New Artist; sparkling feedback from major international media including The New York Times, Rolling Stone, Vogue, Harper’s BAZAAR and The Guardian. A The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon performance — Nicki was the first Argentine artist to ever grace that stage — has hit 8.5 million views. Her late 2021 NPR Tiny Desk concert showcasing her sophomore release, Parte de Mí, has reached nearly 20 million. She delivered a critically lauded performance at Coachella 2022, and this year gave stellar shows at Viña del Mar festival in Chile and throughout Mexico on a headlining tour. In the process, she’s amassed 17 million Instagram followers and a dedicated, explosive fanbase shooting her streaming stats through the roof.

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
