Award-winning Country singer-songwriter Fanny Lumsden added another feather to her cap last week with her chart-topping album fallow picking up the ARIA Award nomination for Best Country Album, marking this Lumsden’s third ARIA nomination over the past few years.
Adding to what has already been a whirlwind of a year for the savvy story-teller, with the release of fallow, latest single Fierce, her stunning documentary ‘Mountain Mama Take Me Home: Fallow & The Tooma Valley’, a career highlight performing on Playschool and a selected participating artist spot on the Global Music Match program, this much deserved ARIA nod for Lumsden is just the cream on top.
Says Fanny, “After releasing this album through fires and then it coming out the day everything was cancelled because of Covid, getting an ARIA nomination has been a huge reaffirmation that in the end, we all need music, we all need songs.”
Now Fanny Lumsden is finally set to kick off her rescheduled fallow album tour with her full band, taking in NSW, ACT, VIC & QLD – with the NSW leg sponsored by Great Southern Nights.
“We simply cannot wait to get out there and play these songs live in November and are really grateful to the Great Southern Nights initiative for making a lot of them possible.”
Supporting throughout the tour will be NSW South Coast singer-songwriter Timothy James Bowen. Don’t miss Fanny Lumsden live.

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
