Twice GRAMMY-nominated and BRIT Award-winning artist Arlo Parks returns with the announcement of her highly anticipated new album, Ambiguous Desire, set for release on April 3.
The announcement marks Arlo’s first full-length release since her critically acclaimed 2023 album My Soft Machine and arrives alongside a bold new single, ‘2SIDED’, which premiered as BBC Radio 1’s first Hottest Record of 2026. The track signals an exciting new chapter for Parks, revealing a more dance-driven, nocturnal evolution of her sound.

‘2SIDED’ follows Arlo’s recent tease of new material with the YouTube-exclusive video ‘New Desire’, which sent fans into a frenzy and hinted at the sonic world she has been building over the past two years. During this time, Parks immersed herself in late-night spaces and club culture, drawing inspiration from the queer hedonism of New York City’s Paradise Garage, the shadowy British soundscapes of The Streets and Burial, the euphoric synth-driven release of LCD Soundsystem, and the deep, rooted house grooves of Theo Parrish.
This influence is felt throughout Ambiguous Desire, a record that finds Parks embracing modular synths, samplers, and dancefloor rhythms while retaining the poetic lyricism and emotional intimacy that have defined her songwriting. ‘2SIDED’ offers the first true glimpse of this new sonic direction—confident, physical, and expansive.
With Ambiguous Desire, Arlo Parks steps into a thrilling new era, balancing vulnerability with liberation and introspection with movement. This is only the beginning of what promises to be a standout album campaign, with much more to come.

AMNPLIFY – DB

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
