[Friday, March 1] From basking in the brilliance of day sets at the hands of carefully picked headliners, to transforming Liberty Hall into a nighttime clubbing destination, Astral People has solidified Summer Dance as a staple summertime music event series once again. Brace yourself for the grand finale of the ‘23 – ’24 season at Sydney’s Liberty Hall on Saturday, March 23, where Moktar, Palms Trax & Disco Dora will dazzle in the daylight, only to surrender the night to the commanding prowess of clubbing authorities CARISTA, Batu & DjRUM.

Embark on a day-long joyride at Liberty Hall’s Courts with Berlin’s beloved techno maestro, Palms Trax. The legendary producer, with a meteoric rise to fame, will be delivering an all out dance extravaganza. Joining the party is none other than Astral People’s own Moktar, combining jungle breakbeats and dubby techno, whilst sprinkling his middle eastern roots guaranteed to get people dancing. Rounding out the day is Eora’s favourite, Disco Dora, packing out the sun-soaked disco affair with flying synths and jammin beats.

Dive into the night inside Liberty Hall’s bespoke club experience, taken over by three international guests who serve up a buffet of sonic delights. Joining the lineup is rising underground royalty DjRUM, effortlessly turning any genre he touches into gold, whether its buzzing jazz synthscapes to the hypnotic deep recesses of dubstep. Taking things deeper is Batu, the connoisseur of all things latin club rhythms, abyssal electro and low end techno. The spotlight then shifts to the mesmerising CARISTA, the Utrecht native whose seamless mastery traverses the hottest dance genres, leaving the audience spellbound by her prowess as a music producer and curator.

With a legacy of celebrating openness and ambition, the Summer Dance series has become a cornerstone in Sydney’s club scene since its 2015 debut. Eight years in and many sold-out seasons later, the summer staple grows bigger, better, and more iconic with each year. Astral People’s ‘23/’24 Summer Dance season has made its mark with unforgettable moments, ranging from Skrillex’s surprise appearance with Jyoty, to the momentous sold-out day party helmed by Bicep which kicked off the new year.

Curiously creative and matched with eclectic taste, Astral People are known for touring groundbreaking talent from clubbing institutions to the finest festivals around the country. Previous Summer Dance seasons were no stranger to this, featuring CC:Disco (AUS), Honey Dijon (US), Moodymann (US), Kornel Kovacs (SWE), Floating Points (UK), Hunee (KOR), Gilles Peterson (UK), and more!
