Bringing chaotic, wild energy with her – Tiali arrives with her new single and video ‘Jigsaw’, through Arcadia Records / Sony Music Entertainment Australia.
Through gritty guitar lines and punchy vocals, ‘Jigsaw’ is nearly three minutes of pure rock that will transport some listeners back to the Golden Days of alt rock and introduce the new generation to a sound that has shaped countless musicians to this day, including Tiali herself.
Co-written and produced by Holy Holy’s Oscar Dawson, ‘Jigsaw’ is just a taste of what’s to come from this Central Coast-based singer/songwriter.

Speaking about the single, Tiali says “’Jigsaw’ is a reflection of chaos in many aspects. Life gets messy and often, the state of your mind, relationships, lifestyle and physical surroundings are interconnected. The opening lines, ‘are you a jigsaw? Cause I’m having an awfully hard time trying to figure you out’, I initially wrote about myself, from my partner’s perspective, but as the song progressed, it became apparent to me that I was not only drawing meaning from my relationship with him, but also speaking to myself, calling myself out on the bullshit, and telling Tiali to get it together.
“My space was a mess, my lifestyle was destructive, my mental health was suffering. I remember starting this song with Oz (Oscar Dawson), I played these chords and he suggested speeding it up for more attack. I’d had these lyrics noted down for a while, but hadn’t found a good fit sonically, and this one felt right.”

With a sound that is undeniably made to be played on a stage, it’s only fitting that Tiali enlisted her band to jump on the recording of the track.
“Getting my band to play live on the track was the perfect way to flesh it out and really achieve my vision,” Tiali says. “When you’ve got such talented musicians & an epic producer to work with, it really becomes an easy and natural process.”
