DAYDREAM
starts this month
Good times are ahead for indie music lovers with the arrival of Daydream. Touring Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane this Autumn, the indie shindig is stocked with revered alternative acts including Modest Mouse, Slowdive, Tropical F*ck Storm and more.
The one stage format means you won’t miss any of the indie heavyweights on offer;
MODEST MOUSE (USA)
SLOWDIVE (UK)
TROPICAL F*CK STORM
BEACH FOSSILS (USA)
CLOUD NOTHINGS (USA)
MAJAK DOOR**Not appearing in Brisbane
Returning down under for the first time since 2016, indie-rock royalty Modest Mouse will headline the show, bringing along cult favourites “Float On”, “Dashboard” and more classics from their stellar discography, including hits from the revered The Lonesome Crowded West, which celebrated its 25th anniversary last year.

They’ll also bring along tracks from The Golden Casket, their seventh-studio album and first new record in six years, which explores the degradation of America’s psychic landscape through the glass of the smartphone screen. NME describes the album as “a psychedelic pop masterwork that picks up the positivity they first explored with 2004 mega-smash ‘Float On’”. 5/5
Initially forming in 1989, breaking up, reforming in 2014 and releasing a self-titled album in 2017, the much-loved, highly revered UK band Slowdive are gracing the stage with their ambient-rock infused gems. Of their self-titled album, Pitchfork said “This is an album as thoughtful as it is beautiful.” We couldn’t agree more and with their live show frequently referred to as “pure sonic bliss”, we cannot wait to sway along to songs like “When the Sun Hits”, the beautifully understated “Sugar For The Pill” and more from their epic back catalogue.
Australian grit-rockers Tropical F*ck Storm are known for their commitment to building songs on the weirdest possible grooves and will unleash their trademark fiery and chaotic set. Brooklyn’s Beach Fossils will mesmerise with pop-hazed tracks like “Down The Line” and “Sleep Apnea”. Cloud Nothings will bring tastes from their eight album back catalogue and local surf rock 60s psychedelia outfit Majak Door will bring the vibes to Melbourne and Sydney.
Made for the more discerning music lovers, this new event will ensure you get a solid fix of the indie-rock goodness you’ve been daydreaming of.

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
