Today, eight-time GRAMMY® Award-nominated, multi-platinum singer, songwriter, designer, and philanthropist Avril Lavigne released her latest single “I’m A Mess (with YUNGBLUD)” via Travis Barker’s DTA Records. Listen to “I’m A Mess (with YUNGBLUD)” now HERE.
“I’m A Mess (with YUNGBLUD)” was written by Avril Lavigne, Travis Barker, John Feldmann and Dominic Harrison aka YUNGBLUD and was produced by Feldmann and Barker. Lavigne also released the official music video for the song today. Directed by P Tracy, it was filmed in both London and Los Angeles. Watch the video now HERE.
Avril recently wowed audiences at Las Vegas’s inaugural When We Were Young Festival, with Variety naming her set one of the festival’s highlights.
Lavigne’s highly anticipated seventh studio album Love Sux debuted in the top 3 on the ARIA Charts, and top 10 on Billboard’s Top 200 Chart, landing at #2 on Billboard’s Top Album Sales Chart, Top Rock Albums Chart, and Top Alternative Albums Chart. About YUNGBLUD:
Born in Yorkshire, England, YUNGBLUD (aka Dominic Harrison) is a multi-instrumentalist who first picked up a guitar at age two and began writing his own songs at age 10. The 24-year-old artist is known for voicing what he feels are major concerns for his generation, using his music to unite and empower the youth of today. Following the release of his self-titled EP and his full-length 2018 debut, 21stCentury Liability, YUNGBLUD released the underrated youth EP in 2019, which debuted in the top 10 on the Official UK Albums chart.
