Arnhem Land Tour

Following their release of their first new music in two years with the rattling ‘Mansfield 6.0’, Adelaide rock band Bad//Dreems have announced a run of shows through October and November. The Spring tour will see the band hitting metro cities including Launceston on Friday 21st October , Hobart Saturday 22nd October, Sydney Friday 28th October, Melbourne Saturday 29th October, Adelaide Saturday 12th November and Brisbane on Friday 25th November.
Along for the ride on various shows are Caitlin Harnett & The Pony Boys with their dreamy Americana grooves and Northern NSW rockers Mini Skirt. Check the dates for specific shows as well as local supports.
Bad//Dreems are currently on an 11 date tour across Arnhem Land in the NT. The tour, alongside Jabiru’s Black Rock Band, includes dates at Darwin Festival this weekend and Kalkarindji’s Freedom Day Festival with Paul Kelly. The tour is part of the Guts Touring initiative and follows in the footsteps of the Warumpi Band and Midnight’s Oils famous 1986 Blackfella/Whitefella tour. Baddies guitarist Alex Cameron said: “We are midway through the tour of a lifetime across Arnhem Land with our new mates Black Rock Band from Jabiru. It’s a privilege to be able to visit the wonderful communities up here and share music with.”
New single ‘Mansfield 6.0’ is the first taste of the band’s forthcoming fourth album. It was inspired by the bizarre events of late 2021 when the “Hi Vis Riots” of anti-vaccination construction workers coincided with the largest earthquake in Victoria for 50 years. More details on the album’s release will be announced soon.
The video for ‘Mansfield 6.0’ was recorded in and around an abandoned warehouse in St Peters, Sydney and features vocalist Ben Marwe, in a role loosely inspired by Rolf de Heer’s cult classic film Bad Boy Bubby. Directed by Mclean Stephenson, a longtime collaborator and shot by cinematographer Billy Zammit. No animals were harmed, and no road rules were contravened in the making of the video. Check out the video here.
Speaking of great videos, check out the new A.B. Original song ‘King Billy Cokebottle’ starring the one and only Ben Marwe as bogan #1.

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
