BBIANCA
releases new single
‘FOMO’
.
.
Naarm (Melbourne) & Eora (Sydney) based popstar and rapper BBIANCA drops her fourth instalment to her discography, aptly titled ‘FOMO’ with massive production credits from New York based artist Tonto, and co-production by Soundcloud producer obbeats (Destroy Lonely, Glokk40spaz, Lil Tracy, Babysosa) as well as mixing and mastering by Sydney mainstake Grasps, of Agony. BBIANCA’s newest single follows the path of her last release Alexis Haines with more of a rap based track; although her very hypnotizing vocals coupled with the very electronic synths bring somewhat of a pop feel to the song, her cheeky and confident bars (“If i threw a bone you’d wear it like you’re a Flintstone”) over the bouncing kick drums bring it instantly more into the genre of pop or pop rap with a slight hint of Hyperpop, indicating a step into the direction of creating more club bangers in the future. This is all topped off with a self directed and edited music video which begs the question; does she do it all?

Marking her fourth collaboration with Bree Avery, a stylist and contemporary now based in Naarm, the pair and long time friends put their heads together to create two different looks each signifying a certain energy to communicate BBIANCA’s ideas through the self directed music video. Exploring the concept of the fear of missing out (either from herself or the viewer) BBIANCA addresses the inauthenticity of finding identity off of only external influences. She does so whilst evaluating her own emotions with tongue in cheek bars, directly addressing an imaginary scapegoat driven with obsession and using black magic to take possession of BBIANCAS self confidence and individuality. It is these kinds of notions that make BBIANCA special as an artist, as the concepts she explores vary from reality, personal issues all the way into literal magic, and these energies are communicated through the sunset backed music video shot by fellow Sydney rapper Scan. The single art cover, also edited herself, adds perfectly to the video, blurring out her face with Apple’s face ID logo plastered on top for familiarity and internet based swag.

BBIANCA, an unearthly singer and songwriter from Eora (Sydney) brings a refreshing taste to dance-pop music. The first generation Italian-Australian performer spans multiple genres and realms of sound, BBIANCA’s melodic call will be heard by all who gravitate towards that which excites and hypnotizes. Looking to influences such as 070 Shake, Hayley Williams, Nelly Furtado, Britney Spears, Croatian Amor, Rihanna, Avril Lavigne, Future and FKA twigs, BBIANCA has embarked on a journey of musical exploration that binds elements from countless beings.
BBIANCA is no stranger to the stage either, debuting her live performance in Naarm earlier in the year via Rude Baby Records’ TEETH alongside artists Nuum, Scan and Rapallo. Her second performance for Scan and SUS1ER’s year closing show, “A Christmas Miracle”, in collaboration with Rude Baby Records saw BBIANCA shake the walls again with more unreleased music whilst providing captivating crowd control and ethereal movement. They have always provided the same energy in every show spanning across different genres and fanbases, performing at the opening of Shades Bar in Sydney alongside KAVI, a show at the Lord Gladstone with Dolores, Trophie and up and comers Sidney Phillips and Lil Ket, and more recently opening for Sydney punk-rap alternative artists Shady Nasty. BBIANCA’s momentum is far from slowing down with her later performances of 2023, including her Western Australian debut with Scan and SUS1ER’s “Get Amongst It” tour, a performance in Sydney for Coalesce 005 featuring international acts such as Alice Longyu Gao and SEBII, and another show alongside Sidney Phillips for the opening of Melbourne jewelry brand Ireh Shine. These high-energy performances are just the start of the journey for the ethereal pop princess.

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
