Somewhere over the rainbow lies the land of FOTSUN, promising three jam-packed days of ghouls, glitter and great Aussie music. Mark your calendars and gather your mates to get ready for this summer’s freakiest festival.
Celebrating its sweet 16th in style, Festival of the Sun returns to Port Macquarie to send it with their ‘Ghouls and Unicorns’ edition. Gates to the underworld open December 12th and close the 14th, with performances from this insane lineup:

Festival Director and master of mischief, Simon Luke, is ready to get his glitter on for this year’s event saying “Hitting the sixteen year mark makes Festival Of The Sun one of Australia’s longest running independent music festivals, and we are back to do it again. We are proud to host a boutique BYO festival to celebrate Aussie music and share nothing but good times with festival goers.”

For those that don’t want to miss any of the fun and park up at Port Macquarie Breakwall Holiday Park on Thursday, expect to be in hysterics with an array of Silent Comedy acts, twirling and hooping workshops and plenty of food trucks. Also announced is a new Silent Sounds Garden with your favourite FOTSUN mix ups! Thursday is now a staple FOTSUN tradition and a great way to get to know your fellow FOTSUNNERS.
Music will be kicking off from midday on Friday the 13th, so expect to see some spooky scenes whilst getting amongst some of Australia’s best music acts that FOTSUN has in store for 2019.
Tickets to the underworld go on sale Thursday the 8th of August at 10AM via fotsun.com and hosted by long term partners Oztix, so don’t be a zombie and miss them while they’re hot. GA 2 and 3 Night tickets (including free camping) start at $239 and $249, respectively. Car passes for 3 nights start at $52.00 and can double up as your accom if you live that van life.
If you don’t have your own tent to pitch, we have room for you across the graveyard amongst the greener pastures of Tent City. Here lies an eco friendly VIP experience of sunshine, lollipops and rainbows. All ticket packages and full details can be found on fotsun.com.
FOTSUN is one of NSW’s longest-running BYO festivals and is an 18+ event. Families are welcome and children under 12 receive free entry when accompanied by an adult.

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
