‘BIG WORRY’

Bec Stevens has released her newest single “Big Worry” and has simultaneously described the overwhelming feeling of having imposter syndrome in today’s society.
After humble beginnings in her home state of Tasmania, 2013 saw a move to Adelaide for the honest and moving songwriter, Bec Stevens. Despite new beginnings, it wasn’t long before she was welcomed with open arms by the local music community, for her friendly smile and powerful, celestial voice. Rigorous touring Australia-wide, weekend in, weekend out, soon eventuated to landing impressive support slots with the likes of Slowly Slowly, Tim Rogers and Missy Higgins, as well as the illustrious Julien Baker (USA) and other international artists.

Speaking on the track, Bec says, “Big Worry is about trying to exist with imposter syndrome, anxiety and all the fun symptoms that blur between. I wrote this song when I was having a big moment of reflection, not the type that makes you feel better, the type that makes you laugh (probably aloud if you are anything like me) and say to yourself, “who the HELL do I think i am? A functioning member of society? Nice try, Bec!”
Following the release of her most recent and highly acclaimed sophomore record ‘Why Don’t You Just’ in 2019, Bec spent a lot of the year touring around the nation armed with her full band, giving the newer tracks a whole new level of power and soul, which wasn’t unnoticed by the National Live Music Awards who presented Stevens with the ‘Best Live Voice’ award of 2019.
“Big Worry” is available to stream on all platforms now.

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
