A few weeks ago the inaugural Bendigo Autumn Music festival, BAM, shared a whopping first line up announcement that included Kurt Vile,Cash Savage and The Last Drinks, Xylouris White, Tiny Ruins and Harry James Angus, amongst many others. Today BAM reveals the stunning second artist line up. A rich, diverse and impressive musical offering of over 80 artists, of which 30% are from City of Greater Bendigo and central Victoria. Taking place in the heart of Bendigo’s arts precinct, over four days next April, on the Anzac Day long weekend, BAM’s full program contains 150 performances with artists from regional Victoria, Australia, New Zealand, Mali, Senegal, US, UK, South Africa, Israel, Iraq and Spain.
Heading up today’s second line up announce is the formidable Mojo Juju who recently released one of the most exciting albums of the year, Native Tongue – raw, fragile and ballsy we are thrilled to have Mojo heading to BAM in April.

Next up is the undeniable rock legend Tex Perkins and the Fat Rubber Band. Perkins, who we know and love from a rich career spanning Beasts of Bourbon and The Cruel Sea collaborates with Matt Walker to present an exploration into blues swamp-groove sounds, with a few Cruel Sea covers promised as part of the set list.
Heading to the central Victorian goldfields from South Africa is charismatic guitar savant and singer Sibusile Xaba who brings his addictive blend of Zulu folk music, bossa nova, flamenco, desert blues and jazz to BAM.

Originally commissioned by the Queensland Music Festival, and recently performed as part of Melbourne International Arts Festival, we also welcome a very special performance that sees original The Go Between’s members Lindy Morrison, Amanda Brown and John Willsteed reunite to perform their album 16 Lovers Lane in its entirety, along with special guests Dan Kelly, Danny Widdicombe and Luke Daniel Peacock. The tribute will also feature Dave Graney, Clare Moore, Rob Snarski, Alex Gow (Oh Mercy), Katie Noonan, Emily Lubitz (Tinpan Orange) and Laura Jean.
As well as featuring in the 16 Lovers Lane tribute, ARIA Award-winning Katie Noonan will also be presenting one of the other festival highlight’s – ‘Gratitude & Grief’ – a not to be missed collaboration between Noonan’s jazz trio Elixir and acclaimed Melbourne artist and poet, Michael Leunig. The innovative performance will take place in Bendigo’s state-of-the-art Ulumbarra Theatre on the Sunday 28 April and combine spoken word poetry, music and art into an exquisite and unique Australian concert experience.
Acclaimed producer, performer and beloved co-host of Rockwiz, Brian Nankervis will also be heading to BAM for a series of conversational, ‘On The Couch’ sessions with a handpicked selection of artists from BAM’s extraordinary lineup.
Rounding out the eclectic line up announcement are soul sisters Vika & Linda Bull, Tom Lanesek and Tom Snowdon’s latest project No Mono (the duo behind the award-winning project, #1 dads), and post-punk outfit RVG.
