“Every line delivers care, contemplation and consideration” – RUSSH
Beth and Blue return with ‘Nobody But You’, a tender meditation on wishful thinking and doomed devotion. Floating through the bittersweet haze of unrequited love, the track captures “the quiet ache of watching someone you love reach too high, too fast,” the duo explain.

“Nobody But You drifts through the bittersweet haze of wishful thinking and doomed devotion. It’s the quiet ache of watching someone you love reach too high, too fast. Shimmering guitars and slow, suspended harmonies trace the feeling of loving a fallen star, of knowing the fire that drew you in was always going to burn out. Written while touring around Australia, the song was born from stolen moments in green rooms.”
Shimmering with celestial guitars and hushed harmonies, the single sits at the heart of the duo’s forthcoming debut album Take It All. Written on a remote farm in New South Wales, the record merges farmhouse romanticism with high-concept melodrama. Across its tracks, Beth and Blue inhabit older versions of themselves, imagined characters, and mythic archetypes, crafting songs that feel like miniature plays complete with tension, pathos, and release.
In a world that often prizes irony and detachment, Take It All stands as an act of artistic sincerity: bold, beautiful, and unafraid of feeling too much. It’s a culmination of the pair’s shared life and a manifesto for a new kind of romantic art pop – sincerity as rebellion, romance as art, and songwriting as deep, shared devotion.
Recent single ‘Mystery of Chains’ continues to gain momentum, being added to Double J and FBi Radio rotation, alongside editorial playlisting on Spotify’s Tapestry and Apple Music’s New In Rock and New In Indie. The album also features previous releases ‘Take It All’, ‘Protection’, and ‘I Love You’, which have earned support from RUSSH, Double J, FBi, 2SER, Edge Radio, PBS, and triple j Unearthed.

Beth and Blue’s take on the love song is panoramic, addressing desire, euphoria, fragility, and despair with equal doses of melodrama and surrealism. Their sound, echoing New Wave and dream pop, is carried by the reverberated harmonies of Imogen Grist (Babitha) and Marcus Index (Spookyland/Marcus Index) – two artists bound by an instant creative and romantic chemistry that feels almost fated.
“If we hadn’t liked writing songs together and respected each other’s choices, there probably wouldn’t have been a next date,” laughs Imogen. The pair met via a dating app, bonding over Emmylou Harris and Gram Parsons and the aching theatricality of ABBA. “We both had this nostalgic thing going on in our own solo projects, so we booked a getaway and started writing songs together.”
Though recorded in fragments across multiple studios and years, Take It All is a remarkably cohesive debut, mixed and produced by Tony Buchen (Gordi, Montaigne, Jack River). Balancing grandeur and intimacy, the record layers rolling drums, cinematic strings, and celestial synths against piano lines and hushed harmonies. The result is a lush yet deeply human body of work, epic in scope but anchored in feeling.
For a duo who never set out to make a record, who started by simply trying to impress each other with old country records and scribbled lyrics, Take It All is an extraordinary debut. It’s a love story told through song, art, and devotion.

AMNPLIFY – DB

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
