Beyond The Valley has officially kicked off its landmark 10th edition, with the first two days delivering massive moments, surprise sets, and a high-octane start to the biggest iteration of the festival to date. Festival-goers have been filling Barunah Plains as BTV celebrates a decade of world-class music, culture and community, setting a high bar for the days ahead.
Monday night was a defining moment when global pop phenomenon Addison Rae closed the Valley Stage, completing her first-ever festival appearance. Rae’s performance was a milestone for the artist and for Beyond The Valley, drawing one of the festival’s biggest crowds so far this festival. Addressing the audience mid-set, Rae shared, “This is the first festival I’ve ever done,” sending the Valley Stage into celebration.
Day one kicked off on December 28 with the iconic Dance Dome opening the festival in signature BTV style. Bullet Tooth brought sharp energy early into the evening before Australia’s own Ollie Lishman closed the Dance Dome, locking in the late-night atmosphere and setting the tone for the days ahead.

December 29 saw the Valley Stage surge with momentum as Miss Kaninna, Mallrat and DICE delivered a standout run of Australian favourites, carrying the crowd seamlessly from day into night. R&B icon JoJo followed with a powerful, hit-driven set, sparking festival-wide sing-alongs to “Leave (Get Out)” and “Too Little Too Late” in one of the most memorable moments of the opening weekend, before the stage handed over to Addison Rae’s historic close.
Over at the Dance Dome on day two, the energy intensified as house music heavyweight Chris Stussy delivered a standout performance, followed by a driving set from KETTAMA, before DJ HEARTSTRING took over the closing hours.

Surprise and discovery remained central to the 10th birthday celebrations, with Orkestrated delivering the festival’s first secret set inside the Dance Dome, signalling more unexpected moments still to come. Adding to the anniversary magic, BTV’s special birthday activations came alive across the site, including a hidden forest party hosted by Not Without Friends, reinforcing the festival’s reputation for exclusive, you-had-to-be-there experiences.
Anticipation continues to build as Beyond The Valley charges toward its New Year’s Eve finale. Turnstile, Dom Dolla and Kid Cudi are still to perform, plus more secret sets as BTV celebrates ten years by delivering its boldest chapter yet.

AMNPLIFY – DB

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
