At the beginning of November, Frankfurt event entrepreneur Bernd Breiter, CEO of BigCityBeats and creator of the WORLD CLUB DOME festival, witnessed the launch of ESA Astronaut Matthias Maurer from the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral to the International Space Station (ISS). As part of ESA astronaut Matthias Maurer’s “Cosmic Kiss” mission, the “BigCityBeats – Space Club Kitchen” will be the largest club music event in the history of mankind. Not only is the date for this orbital event penciled in, March 19, 2022, but thanks to the cooperation of the “World Association of Chefs Societies” (WACS), there will also be 12 million chefs on board the “Space Club Kitchen”.
The space-suitable Indonesian goulash (“Rendang”), Matthias Maurer’s chosen dish, will be cooked in unison with the world, was developed by TV star chef Tim Mälzer in collaboration with LSG Sky Chefs for space. The astronaut will prepare the dish in the same way as millions of people around the world, and will be celebrated and remembered as “The Largest Club Music Dinner Event in the History of Humankind”. Matthias Maurer will even mmixe a unique DJ set via iPad, which will be shared across, 50 unique dinner parties. Each dinner event will be a star-studded showcase, featuring celebrity chefs and top DJs for entertainment, who will spoil the celebs and guests in attendance, and all in aid of a good cause.
In parallel, the event will also be used as the launchpad for Breiter’s philanthropic ‘One Billion Meals From Outer Space” Foundation. The goal of which is to collect 1 billion food donations to support aid organizations around the world.
To give everyone the opportunity to participate and prepare the dish together, there will be a Space Club Kitchen app to watch the videos from the ISS as well as the more than 50 global dinner events held in front of cultural landmarks of humanity, such as the pyramids in Giza.
BigCityBeats and the World Association of Chefs Society team up for the largest club dinner event known so far
The “World Association of Chefs Societies“ (WACS) becomes a partner of “BigCityBeats – Space Club Kitchen” with Frankfurt event and festival agency BigCityBeats GmbH. BCB CEO Bernd Breiter met WACS President Thomas Gugler and inspired him with the incredible Space Club Kitchen concept of creating the largest club music dinner event in the history of mankind. As a result of which 12 million chefs worldwide will support and participate in the campaign.
Thomas Andreas Gugler, CEO of the multi-million dollar organization that represents more than 12 million professional chefs worldwide, has thrown his whole support behind the campaign: “I think that’s the biggest thing that can happen. Music, food, everything together is the perfect combination to unite people and bring them closer together. I think it’s the perfect formula to create the combination between mother earth and the universe. And in the end, when billions of people in space and on Earth eat the same dish, it becomes the aha- effect. It can be bigger than the Olympics. It can become the millennium event, developed by Bernd Breiter and BigCityBeats in cooperation with WORLDCHEFS.”
“I am proud that WORLDCHEFS are on board the “Space Club Kitchen” and support our concept of bringing the whole world together to one table. Together we unite the whole of humanity through the two universal languages music and cuisine,” says Bernd Breiter CEO and founder of BigCityBeats and initiator of this event.
Bernd Breiter is also supported by the German aid organization “Wings of Help (WoH)“, which works to help people in need around the world. In 2012, Wings of Help was recognized by the World Association of Chefs Societies for its continuous fight against world hunger, they were presented with the “World Humanitarian Award“, which is only given out every four years.

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
