Woman of the moment BILLIE EILISH made history over the weekend. The 18 year old swept the four biggest prizes at the GRAMMY® Awards – Best New Artist, Record of the Year, Album of the Year and Song of the Year. She also took home Best Pop Vocal album, for a total of five Grammys

The wins are record-breaking. Eilish is the youngest solo performer to ever win album of the year. She also became the first woman and second person ever to win the “big four” categories in the same year.  See below for full re-cap.

Eilish also made headlines locally over the weekend when she topped triple j’s Hottest 100 poll with ‘bad guy’Billie Eilish is the youngest act to ever top the annual countdown, and the first female solo artist to hit #1 in Hottest 100 history. She also scored the most songs in the countdown, with four tracks from her debut album “WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO?” as well as her recent stand-alone track ‘everything I wanted’ (watch the Eilish-directed video here making it into the countdown).

The “WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP…” LP (out via UMA) was also recently revealed as ARIA’s highest-selling album of 2019.

Billie says of the achievement: “Thank you ARIA’s and Australia for this award. It’s a huge privilege to be recognized by a country and nation that mean so much to me and my family, and I can’t wait to return and see you all soon. I love you, and my heart is breaking for what is happening over there right now.”

There’s no rest for Billie as she prepares for a world arena tour (which sold out in less than an hour) and ahead of the release of the title song for the 25th James Bond film, No Time To Die, which was written and recorded by Billie and her elder brother and producer FINNEAS. The song will be released on Universal Records Australia this April.
