Sydney-based indie-electronic musician and producer, Billy Fox, is proud to launch Common Good—a collective of like-minded artists who strive to provide opportunities for the Sydney music community.
Common Good is headed up by Billy Fox in collaboration with rising indie-pop star Sparrows, indie-electronic crowd favourites Nocturnal Tapes, critically-praised producer Mookhi, as well as Isy Isy, Reggie Banks, LOVER, Ross Henry and Self Tape.
The artist-run collective will aim to provide an open space for everyone to write, produce, perform and collaborate with one another, while sharing ideas about the music industry at large.
Billy Fox explains the genesis of Common Good:
“After speaking with a number of electronic / future-soul artists based in Sydney, there seems to be a need, and a very strong interest, in a space for these artists to work together, as opposed to just separately, in their own pockets of creativity across this beautiful city of ours,” explains Fox.
“Some of us are already collaborating and working together on things, and I could see this natural amalgamation of artists coming together. We’re all about creating together, supporting each other and the community, playing great parties, for the common good of us and our city.”
Common Good will also put on bi-monthly gigs in Sydney featuring a revolving door cast of musicians both from the collective and local musicians who they admire. The first Common Good event will be Billy Fox’s EP launch on Friday 3 May at The Vanguard in Sydney, which also features Isy Isy, LOVER and Reggie Banks.
As a special offering for the collective’s announcement, Billy Fox has shared an exclusive Self Tape remix of ‘Blistered’—one of the highlights from his forthcoming EP, “LUNG” (due 3 May).

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
