“‘Caroline’ is primed to be blasted and sung as loudly (and poorly) as you can while driving in the dark. The nostalgic, unrequited lyrics are tastefully blatant and feel like secrets you would admit to your closest of friends at a sleepover.”TMRW Magazine

“Boy in Space, real name Robin Lundbäck, lets his imagination run wild on his latest song ‘Caroline’. He welcomes listeners into a wild and wonderful world of creativity… Entering Boy in Space’s head will leave you feeling a little bit better.”Wonderland Magazine

“‘Caroline’ definitely reads like a love note, but is flirtatiously veiled by trappy sounds and a cinematic chorus. With a playfully pop vibe laced with catchy lyrics, Boy In Space has captured the hearts of listeners across the globe through his music. Fans can expect even more music, more realness, and perhaps some surprises in 2020.” Dujour Magazine

“Propelled by Robin’s genuine, emotionally-charged vocals, the new single conveys the swell of self-doubt and hopelessness that accompanies unrequited love.”The Prelude Press

“The Swedish artist adds a surreal spin to the pining pleas of the song’s irresistibly catchy chorus as he searches through a dream world of lush gardens, neon lights and the spectre of a girl just out of reach.”Billboard

Swedish pop newcomer Boy In Space has charmed fans yet again with the release of his second single in 2020; “U N Eye”. Robin Lundbäck’s stratospheric falsetto and dreamy, nostalgic production have earned him close to 40 million streams on Spotify alone since his debut in 2018, and placed him amongst the ranks of bright rising pop stars like label-mates LAUV and FINNEAS, and touring buddy Alec Benjamin.

Boy In Space has also recently been announced as the support act to streaming sensation Jeremy Zucker on the European leg of his ‘love is not dying’ tour.

“U N Eye” is a heart-achingly honest ode to a failed relationship, mixing Boy In Space’s now trademark trap beats with a through line of acoustic guitar and a vocoder-heavy chorus designed to sing along to.

This new track follows the release of fan-favourite “Caroline”, an earworm of a skittering trap-pop track which has already achieved more than 700,000 streams on Spotify and widespread critical acclaim since its release in early February.

The music video for “Caroline”, premiered on Billboard perfectly encapsulates the nostalgic, intimately autobiographical feeling that permeates Boy In Space’s every release; a surreal and psychedelically nostalgic accompaniment to the song much loved by fans.

With roots firmly planted in Swedish pop, and influences stretching from Red Hot Chili Peppers to Toto, Boy In Space has a unique sound that fearlessly amalgamates genres. Despite having not yet released an EP or an album, his hugely devoted fan base is a testament to the universal appeal of his music and personality. Heading into 2020 with millions of streams on Spotify and acclaim from Paper, Dujour, Just Jared, Ones To Watch, Spindle, and Wonderland, all within a year since his independent emergence in 2018, Boy In Space is set for world domination.
