On the solo shows Brad says “The concept for the Yarns and Yodels shows was born out of the pandemic. After stripping back the show to an acoustic, sit-down, solo setting during lockdown, I fell in love with the format again. It forced me to re-learn songs and play them as they were written. Me, a bottle of wine, and the shits with the world – that’s the formula for good songs”
“I wanted to recreate these shows, but take it one step further and out of the pubs and into intimate theatres. I have road-tested it a bunch of times, and now I am keen to take it far and wide. And who knew this little fat kid from the snow could muster up a few funny yarns and get a proper belly laugh out of the crowd.”
Brad Cox has rapidly evolved into a force to be reckoned with in the Australian music landscape. He burst onto the scene in 2018 with his self-titled debut, boasting hits like ‘Too Drunk to Drive’ and ‘Lake House.’

But it’s Acres, his third studio album, that truly cements his place in the annals of country music. It dominated the ARIA Charts, received three ARIA nods for Best Country Album, Best Australian Live Act and Best Cover Art for Connor Dewhurt’s masterpiece, plus fueled a tour that sold an impressive 30,000 tickets.
At the 2024 Golden Guitars, Brad took out three Guitars for Contemporary Country Album of the Year (with producer Brandon Hood), Male Artist of the Year and Top-Selling Album of the Year.
After the success of Acres, Brad Cox isn’t slowing down. He’s already working on new music, set to be released soon. But before that, fans have the chance to catch the essence of Coxy live in action. The Yarns and Yodels tour is more than a series of concerts, it’s Coxy at his finest: uncensored, intimate and truly magic.

Bud Rokesky
Brisbane’s Bud Rokesky has firmly planted himself in the music scene as one impressive story teller since the February release of his acclaimed country-folk debut album, Outsider. With his rich & resonant voice, reminiscent of Orville Peck and Waylon Jennings, and song writing that has been likened to that of Johnny Cash & Townes Van Zandt, it’s Rokesky’s outstanding live performances that will also draw you in and leave you wanting more.
Midnight Chicken
Hatched and hand raised in Newcastle NSW, Midnight Chicken are quickly becoming a hot topic in the bluegrass and country circuits around Australia. Their Bizarre take on bluegrass music gives birth to amazing renditions of traditional tunes and old classics as well as more modern tunes that are sure to be enjoyed by everyone.
Collectively, they have played with some of the country’s greats in the folk/country world including names such as Kasey Chambers, Phil Emmanuel, Catherine Britt, Brad Cox, Fanny Lumsden, Greg Sheehan, Julian James, Charlie & Jensen, Rod McCormack, Gina Jeffries, Bill Chambers, Montgomery Church and many more.

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
