A need to connect authentically drives every aspect of Benson Boone’s artistry. From his unflinchingly honest lyrics to hand-drawn artwork, there is no buffer between him and the listener. This is particularly apparent on the 20-year-old’s debut single ‘GHOST TOWN’, a poignant piano ballad about moving on before love turns sour. The emotions that fueled this song were pulled from observing a friend’s toxic relationship and the development of his own emotional maturity. Ultimately, the song is about making tough decisions. “Love can hurt more than it can help,” the rising pop artist says. “Sometimes the best way of showing someone you care is by letting them go.”
Boone plays multiple instruments on ‘GHOST TOWN’ including the drums, guitar and piano, an instrument that he picked up by ear. Boone even drew the cover art. “I used white charcoal on black paper,” he says. “The drawing took about five hours.” That DIY approach is also reflected in the ‘GHOST TOWN’ video (22m+ YouTube views). “I didn’t want to go with a typical love story,” he says. Instead, the breakthrough artist went back to his hometown and hung out with friends. “We went cliff jumping and hiking, we went to lookouts,” he says. “Just the normal things I did growing up.”
Most recently, Boone released his debut EP Walk Me Home, which has accumulated over 20 million Australian streams to date. The 8-track EP features the emotional ‘In The Stars’ (Certified ARIA Gold), the upbeat ‘ROOM FOR 2’, the debut hit ‘GHOST TOWN’ plus latest single ‘Better Alone’. ‘Better Alone’ showcases Boone’s ability to turn gut-wrenching emotions into mesmerising melodies while flaunting the full range of his powerful vocals. Watch the accompanying Sophie Muller (Kylie Minogue, Rihanna, No Doubt, Maroon 5) directed-video HERE.

Boone has previously delivered stirring live renditions of ‘GHOST TOWN’ on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Late Night with Seth Meyers, Official Live Performance and ‘In The Stars’ on The Late Late Show with James Corden.
“Benson’s Boone’s ‘Nights Like These’ is a break-up song that helps you heal — from the first note, his voice effortlessly expresses the pain of acceptance. It’s perfect for a road trip playlist, especially for those headed to a new beginning” – Billboard

Opening at both Sydney and Melbourne shows is Sydney based, exhilaratingly odd, artist Carla Wehbe. An elusive trait often misunderstood but highly prized in the music world; Wehbe’s is an unconventional uniqueness of vision that has become the hallmark of the likes of Bowie and Mercury. Carla’s first official release came in 2019 when she collaborated with Tyron Hapi on the hit single ‘Touched’, which has been streamed over 7.6 million times on Spotify. In 2020 she independently released her debut EP Half Past Nine, which landed on high rotation on triple j and in 2021 saw her release ‘hurts to love you’ and collaborate with rapper Illy on the track ‘No Feelings’. With a new EP on the way, Wehbe recently released ‘is forever off the table?’ with an accompanying video – HERE.

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
