. . . . . . . .Australian duo Busby Marou released their first taste of new music for 2023 on February 17th, ‘Where I Wanna Be’. Today they release their brand new video which was edited and produced by Sean Gilligan. All the footage was filmed in their recent trip to the Torres Strait Islands in 2022.
Co-written with Lindsay Rimes (Brad Cox, Kane Brown), Ian Kenny (Birds Of Tokyo) and Gretta Ray, ‘Where I Wanna Be’ is the journey of self-discovery and the longing for a place that brings happiness.
“We are so excited to share this song with the world. It was originally written for the legend John Farnham with the help of our talented mates, Ian Kenny, Gretta Ray and Lindsay Rimes, but it quickly became clear that its real home was with us. Its honest lyrics and summer melody perfectly capture the universal desire for happiness, which is what we are all about.” – Tom Busby
“This is one of those songs that sounded amazing from the get-go, although it took us many studio sessions to make the song perfectly Busby Marou. ‘Where I Wanna Be’ has made a perfect addition to our set list and nice to have another upbeat song to choose from.” – Jeremy Marou
‘Where I Wanna Be’ and already released single ‘Everything Is Beautiful’ will feature on Busby Marou’s fifth studio album due for release later this year. Stay tuned!

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
