Tomorrow, January 30th, there is an Indie Rock night at The Tote with a special guest visiting from Chile: CACHE, performing their last gig in Melbourne alongside local projects The Great Emu War Casualties and The Rabbit Lounge.
.
CACHE (Chile)
With over 15 years of experience, a dozen releases and having performed alongside various projects from the Chilean music scene such as Mecanico, Prefiero Fernandez and Eimy, Nico Parra and Ignacio Ramirez, are back with a new act under the name of CACHE.
The sound of CACHE goes through different styles of indie rock mixed with the distinctive character of the rock of southern Latin America of the 80’s and 90’s. The band is in Melbourne for the summer only and this will be your last chance to catch them perform live this year.
Learn more about them through their social media sites below.
.
The Great Emu War Casualties
A professional drifting art-rock band who have also settled in Melbourne for the present time after forming in the UK and wafting across Europe. TGEWC write songs about being socially dysfunctional and being generally unable to cope with the speed of the 21st century.
.
The Rabbit Lounge
From distant corners of the world (Indonesia, Australia and Russia), female-fronted band The Rabbit Lounge have gathered to create the music that observes their generation. It’s angry and poignant, roaring and soft. It’s psychedelic. It’s bluesy. And it’s Rock, son.

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
