Through the strikingly powerful and heavy performance of her latest single, “Forever Goodbye” recorded at Marshall Street Studios, Cammi delves into themes of heartbreak, loss, and forgiveness. The end of a relationship signifies a new beginning, but it can also be a difficult road back to self-discovery.

With an important focus on lyricism, the song begins with a reference to the state of the failing relationship; “Just deny every waking our we spent… a short supply of love and a punch-drunk mess”. Cammi goes on to sing about the her desire to break away from the relationship; “A lesson I needed cause twenty-something’s where we breed it”.
“For years, I felt dependent on somebody who wasn’t good to me. It created havoc in my life and I was losing control of my own emotional state. I was young and my experiences were shaping my need to grow out of what felt comfortable.”
“It was a period marked by depression and loneliness, but the release I felt once I let go of the situation was immense. Saying Forever Goodbye means I’m grateful for the experience but I don’t need you anymore. It’s a forward to the next chapter and I’m proud of all the work that I have done.”

BIO
Born and raised in the bustling city of Melbourne, Cammi’s journey started at the age of 5 years old. Her youthfulness and curiosity about the world had eclipsed her into music and the arts, and at an early age, she began vocal lessons and committed herself to extensive practice. Her appreciation for music, even from a young age, felt like a force she held in the palm of her hands; unbeknownst it would turn into her greatest achievement.
Her love of songwriting has given her the opportunity to use music as a vehicle to inspire awareness and change, through a kaleidoscope of colour and sound. From her very first single, Right As Rain, through to her most recent works, You Are Not Alone, Jasper, and Emerald Lasts Forever, she continues to innovate and express her creativity through honest storytelling, set in motion to create substance and meaning to her songs.

I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
