Praise for CARAVÃNA SUN
“100% best track I’ve heard from this band; really sounds like they’re honing in on something special. They work seriously hard too so I’m stoked at the forecast of bigger things ahead.” – Triple J Unearthed, Dave Ruby Howe (‘Come Back’, 2018)
“A catchy, choral one of longing for someone or something or summer.” – Triple J, Declan Byrne (‘Come Back’, 2018)
“The EP gives off a psychedelic vibe touching on a few different feels and capturing the likes and similar sounds of Tame Impala with a hint of Cage The Elephant.” – Forte Magazine
“…playing their stunning fusion of Fat Freddy’s Drop-inspired progressive dub reggae and ska. Each song provided irresistible grooves that demanded funk faces. The varied band journeyed up and down through vibes and had the audience in the palm of their hands.” – Rhythm Passport (UK)

2020 is shaping up to be a big one for Caravãna Sun, as the band announces their signing with Berlin’s leading independent record label, EMBASSY OF MUSIC, as well as March/April East Coast tour dates in support of their forthcoming single, ‘Charlie’. For international fans, the band will also be appearing mainstage at the Boardmasters Festival in the U.K, performing alongside the likes of The Kooks, The 1975, and Mura Masa.
As the newest members of the Embassy of Music family, Caravãna Sun joined a respected roster of international and Australian talent including Moby, Robyn, Ball Park Music and Husky. Covering worldwide territories (excluding Australia and New Zealand), this new connection brings Caravãna Sun further into the European landscape, having already made a great impact there as a touring band throughout their career. On the signing, the band is stoked about joining the Embassy of Music roster.
“Caravãna Sun has always been about creating and celebrating a family of friends around our band. After meeting all the crew at Embassy Of Music, we knew straight away that something special was brewing! Signing with such a prolific international frontrunner in the music industry; we’re overwhelmingly excited to see what the future holds!” – Ant Beard, Caravãna Sun
Not taking their eye off the ball back home either, the band is set to be introducing Australian fans to new music before long, with their three-date East Coast Australian tour kicking off this March. The tour, set to bring Caravãna Sun to Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, will have The Dreggs supporting the band in Sydney and Brisbane. Touring successfully throughout 2019 has kept the fire going in the band’s bellies – with more new music on the way, this is the perfect time for Caravãna Sun to be back on the road and showing fans the fruits of their recent studio sessions.
“Writing songs has been our primary focus over the past few months, trying to find ways to connect further to our audience. The vibe in Caravãna Sun atm is truly electric and we can’t wait for these upcoming shows to showcase our best work yet!” Ant Beard, Caravãna Sun
Celebrating 10 years together in 2020, Caravãna Sun are approaching a definitive milestone for the band with the introduction of the ‘Charlie’ era. Ever evolving and ever developing their sound and dynamism, Caravãna Sun have got some of their best music yet ahead of them – 2020 will see them shine.

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
