carolesdaughter just wrapped a U.S. tour with nothing,nowhere this past spring and will embark on an international tour starting August 17 in Berlin at Kantine am Berghain. ABOUT carolesdaughter
In this fairytale, there’s no damsel in distress, but there is a devilish sonic superheroine. Her name is carolesdaughter. Born Thea Taylor as the youngest of ten kids in a Mormon family in a San Diego suburb, music granted an escape from the tumult, trials, and tribulations of five different high schools. After battling demons of addiction in rehab, she returned from the brink with songs of her own. Her feelings instantly resonated with listeners. Inspired by the likes of The Doors, The Carpenters, Christian Death, Coheed and Cambria, Crystal Castles, Jinjer, and Lil Peep, she alchemized her pain into power via her art. She initially gained traction with “wish I wuz dead” on Soundcloud before reaching critical mass on “Violent.” The latter spoke directly to millions and picked up a gold-certification. In its wake, she opened for MGK in arenas and launched a free acoustic tour where she engaged audiences in the most intimate setting possible. Simultaneously, she garnered widespread acclaim from PAPER Magazine, V Magazine, and The Line of Best Fit, to name a few. Now, she asserts herself as a vital voice on her 2022 debut EP, please put me in a medically induced coma [Arista Records] and more to come.

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
