Fronted by charismatic Van McCann, the band have always united people around their music and live performances. Freed from opinion and expectation, fans flock in their hundreds of thousands to see and hear the band in concert, exercising joyful release, in communion, as the rest of the world appears to fight with itself on the outside. Catfish and the Bottlemen possess a magnetic and dynamic focal point in McCann, renowned for posing everyday, easily-identifiable observations through his lyrics.
The band’s activities supporting their double platinum debut album The Balcony quickly brought festival main stages and US late night television appearances. Platinum- certified The Ride and gold-certified The Balance propelled them further into UK sell-outs at Don Valley Stadium, Manchester and Wembley Arena, Glasgow’s Bellahouston Park and Cardiff Castle. Significantly, it also invited more quality time with global fans on tours to the USA, South America, Australia and Japan. Audiences from Manchester to Melbourne, Tokyo to Los Angeles, Berlin to New York, and everywhere in between have been engulfed by the swell of eager sentiment propelled from a vociferous fanbase.
Fresh from releasing new single ‘Showtime’, the band headline Reading & Leeds Festival for the second time this summer. Recorded in LA and reflecting the city’s sun-kissed optimism, ‘Showtime’ is the first single to be released from Catfish and the Bottlemen’s soon to be announced fourth studio album produced by Dave Sardy.

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
