Charli XCX has released an EP of 1999 remixes, featuring Australians producers Young Franco and SUPER CRUEL. The EP comes after the original version of 1999 with Troye Sivan went ARIA Platinum in Australia.
Of his 1999 remix Young Franco says “I’ve always been a huge fan of Charli XCX and Troye Sivan’s solo works. When I heard this collab I thought it was one of the best pop songs of the year, so I was stoked to be asked to remix it. I wanted to make something that would work into my sets and be groove focused, it ended up coming together pretty quickly which often means good things. Their vocal performance was amazing, which made it a really fun project, which I feel lucky to be a small part of.”
SUPER CRUEL add “We have always been huge Charli XCX fans or what we like to call “Charli’s Angels”. 1999 is an absolute smash hit and we couldn’t be more excited to remix it. We took the song in a very different direction to the original and hope you guys love it, just as much as we do… “

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
