Celebrating its 17th anniversary next year, the Festival promises a weekend filled with unforgettable live performances from the world’s hottest country stars at Willowbank, Ipswich.

Led by superstar LAINEY WILSON on her debut Australian visit, the mammoth lineup features headliners TYLER HUBBARD and CHRIS YOUNG alongside an incredible array of international and local acts.

As the leading female nominee and winner at the 2023 ACM awards with, Female Vocalist of the Year, Album of The Year, Visual Media and Musical Event of the Year and reigning CMA 2022 Female Vocalist and New Artist of the Year, LAINEY WILSON (USA) has firmly established herself as a powerhouse in the country music scene. Critically-acclaimed and touted as a top “artist to watch,” to being crowned the most nominated artist at both the 2023 CMA Awards (with a record breaking nine nominations) and CMT Music Awards, the Louisiana native has made a name for herself in the industry as one of music’s hottest and most buzzed-about new artists. Landing her first No. 1 with her PLATINUM Certified ACM Song of the Year, ‘Things A Man Oughta Know,’ nearly 10 years to the day after leaving her small farming community in a camper trailer to chase her dreams, she has won over legions of fans with her signature Bell Bottom Country sound and aesthetic, which blends traditional Country with a modern yet retro flare. Her critically acclaimed album, Bell Bottom Country, reached No. 9 on Billboard’s Country Albums Chart and has amassed over 650 million streams to date. Wilson made her acting debut in Season 5 of the smash hit series Yellowstone as a musician character named Abby, where she premiered her original ‘Smell Like Smoke’ as well as showcased other hits off her recent album including ‘Watermelon Moonshine’ and ‘Hold My Halo’. As she continues to break boundaries and set new standards, Lainey Wilson is undeniably a dominant force in the world of music.

With a legacy of 21 No.1 singles on country radio, a slew of awards, and tours that consistently sell out, TYLER HUBBARD (USA) stands tall in the country music scene. As he steps onto the CMC Rocks Stage solo, Hubbard brings with him the genuine essence of country music, reflecting both his roots and his evolution as an artist. Following his time as one-half of the duo Florida Georgia Line, Hubbard released his debut solo album earlier this year, which features platinum-certified ‘5 Foot 9’ and ‘Dancin’ In The Country’. It has amassed more than 1 billion global streams and will be sure to get CMC fans off their camp chairs and up dancing. His new song is called ‘Back Then Right Now’, and he’s continually writing and recording new music into the new year.

With a distinctive baritone that’s become synonymous with country music, CHRIS YOUNG (USA) has solidified his place as a Nashville luminary. Since clinching the Nashville Star title in 2006, he’s amassed a series of chart-toppers, including the unforgettable ‘Gettin’ You Home (The Black Dress Song)’ and the recent hit ‘Famous Friends’ with Kane Brown. Celebrated for hits like ‘Tomorrow’ and ‘I’m Comin’ Over,’ Chris’s accolades include a coveted induction into the Grand Ole Opry in 2017 and a number one spot on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart in 2021 with FAMOUS FRIENDS. As he continues to release chart-dominating tracks, including 2023’s ‘Looking for You,’ Chris Young remains an undeniable force in the country music scene.

Set to make a triumphant return to the festival, CHASE RICE (USA) will set the tone for buzz around the lineup. Boasting a staggering 2.5 billion streams and hits such as ‘Drinkin’ Beer. Talkin’ God. Amen.’ (feat. Florida Georgia Line) and ‘Eyes On You’, Rice’s set is shaping up to be one of the Festival’s highlights.

CMC Rocks QLD has always been a significant highlight for the country music community, offering not just music but an anticipated annual experience. Unique to the festival is the regular Songwriters Show, a highlight which returns to the Tailgate Stage in 2024. The much-loved Big Time Charlie’s makes a splashy return in 2024. Touted as the “honky tonk of your dreams,” Big Time Charlie’s promises top-notch cocktails, air-conditioned comfort, and the unbeatable beats of Dee Jaye Bux. Also returning is the iconic eight-metre-high cowboy boot, Great Northern House, Singles Mingle, Honky Tonk Stomp line dancing, Live Band Karaoke and more.
Ipswich Mayor Teresa Harding noted the exciting lineup reflected Ipswich’s reputation as the home of country music and CMC Rocks QLD.

.
“CMC Rocks QLD has gone from strength to strength since moving to Willowbank in Ipswich and the 2024 line-up reveal ensures next year’s festival will once again be a hit,” Mayor Harding said.
“CMC Rocks QLD brings great benefits to our community, estimated to contribute about $11 million to our economy each year and generate more than 61,000 visitor nights in Ipswich. The festival this year topped 23,000 attendees with more than 90 per cent from outside of the city, and I’m sure with the strong line-up announced for next year’s event tickets will once again be snapped up fast as country music lovers make their annual pilgrimage to Ipswich.”
.
.
Queensland Tourism Minister Stirling Hinchliffe expressed that CMC Rocks QLD should be on every Australian country music fan’s event bucket list for 2024.
.
.
“We’ve given CMC Rocks QLD at Willowbank a prominent place on our 2024 It’s Live! in Queensland events calendar in celebration of the festival’s 17th anniversary,” Mr Hinchliffe said.
“CMC Rocks QLD continues to grow alongside the extraordinary popularity of country music to become a key bucket list experience for fans across the nation. This year’s event welcomed more than 23,000 visitors to the Willowbank Raceway for a smorgasbord of great country acts, generating $14 million for the local economy. Visitors mean more good Queensland jobs and that’s why we’ve saddled up with CMC Rocks to support this iconic music event in March 2024.”

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
