Rising Country Artist Cody Pennington will bring his 30-date headline tour to Australia this month, kicking off in Perth this Friday, 23 May at Metro City. Pennington will then hit the East Coast to continue his run of shows, the rich storytelling and gritty vocals, he’s so well known for, on full display. 

Pennington has just wrapped a sold-out EU leg of his tour and, due to popular demand, will return to the UK for a run of shows after Australia.

My first EU tour sold out months in advance, and we have seen such a big growth in listeners over there. AU ticket sales are picking up – Brisbane and Adelaide sold out! It’s so exciting to be able to get on the road and connect directly with my fans. We’ll be playing ‘Whiskey’s Better’ on our tours in the EU, AU and UK this year, so learn those lyrics! In March, Pennington released ‘Whiskey’s Better’, produced by Zach Bryan & The Lumineers collaborator Ryan Hadlock. Earlier this month, Cody released his latest single ‘Make A Right’, both of which fans can expect in his set, among a mix of originals and country favourites!

Pennington’s eclectic life journey has fueled his rapidly growing presence as a proudly independent artist in country music worldwide. Raised in a trailer park in East Nashville, Cody experienced humble beginnings where cheap guitars—and a family fond of music—became his main outlet. He taught himself to sing and play throughout high school and continued honing his craft during his enlistment in the US Air Force, booking and performing tours in countries such as Turkey, Greece, and the UK.

His live performances channel the heart and soul of his Nashville roots while blending original country tunes with chart-topping hits, creating an unforgettable experience for music lovers around the globe. 

With his independent spirit and relentless drive, Cody Pennington continues to chart his own course in the country music scene—proving that the journey is just as exciting as the destination.
