MONOLITH FESTIVAL

With only weeks to go until Monolith hits venues along the East Coast with some of prog’s biggest and most exciting names, Brisbane fans can now celebrate with the announcement of two unmissable sideshows slated for November.
Headliners Coheed And Cambria will be bringing their iconic catalogue and live show to The Triffid in Brisbane, supported by Canadian instrumentalists Intervals. Coheed And Cambria’s return to Australia is certainly a long-awaited one; 2016 was the last time fans were able to experience the band in full flight.
SInce 2011, Toronto’s Intervals have been making a lane for themselves within the djent and prog metal scene. Most recently, their album ‘Memory Palace’ redefined the group and brought them to a new level of creativity – one that audiences will be able to experience this Spring.
Also set to perform an epic show in Brisbane while in Australia for Monolith, will be Washington D.C. modern prog rock legends, Periphery. Set to bring their latest album, ‘Periphery V: Djent Is Not A Genre’, to Australia, Periphery’s return is one that will serve as a reminder of their weight and impact on the genre.
Joining them at their headline show at The Brightside, is Sydney alternative group Reliqa. Already a band to watch on the local heavy and alternative scene, Reliqa made a crucial breakthrough with their 2024 album, ‘Secrets Of The Future’. Having earned their stripes touring with the likes of Babymetal, Sevendust, Northlane and more, Reliqa are consistently climbing the ranks of Australian champions when it comes to flying the alternative flag.

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
