Hailed as “the best up-and-coming live band in Australia” by triple j, electro-supergroup Confidence Man return with latest offering ‘Better Sit Down Boy’. In celebration of the release on Friday 15 September, eager fans will get the chance to experience the electrifying live set this November as Confidence Man set out on a series of dates along the East Coast on the ‘Ring’A Ding Ding’ tour, as well as slots at Yours & Owls, The Plot, and Falls Festivals.

Earlier releases ‘Bubblegum’ and ‘Boyfriend (Repeat)’ have amassed over a million Spotify streams collectively, and secured remixes by a roll call of respected electronic names including Jono Ma, Andrew Weatherall, and Lindstrom and Prins Thomas.

It’s proving to be a whirlwind year for Confidence Man following one of the most hyped sets at Splendour in the Grass, a mammoth performance at Glastonbury and being one of the most talked about bands at The Great Escape. Joining the band for the Australian dates will be eclectic Melbourne group Broadway Sounds and Producer Love Deluxe before the return to UK/Europe in December for their third leg of European shows this year, with shows in London, Manchester, Birmingham, and a set at Trans Musicales in Rennes, Frances locked in.

Confidence Man have been a triple j unearthed Feature Artist and 2017 Ones to Watch act, played on the Townsville leg of Groovin the Moo, won a coveted triple j unearthed spot at Laneway Festival Brisbane, and have played The Plot, Panama, Golden Plains, Hot Dub Wine Machine and By The Meadow festivals.
