Country music artists are spreading positivity in this time of COVID-19 isolation with a country music concert to lift spirits on Sunday, March 29 at 5.30pm AEDT.

Hosted on the Country Kickback Facebook page, the songwriters in the round-type event will see about a dozen artists chatting about and performing their originals and interacting with fans who can message them during the event.

Artists involved include Darlinghurst, Hayley Marsten, Camille Trail, Benny Allen, Bo’Ness, Emma Dykes, Renee Jonas, and Rae Leigh.

The brainchild of Queensland singer-songwriter Rae Leigh, she wanted to give artists the chance to play live for fans across the country and beyond.

“Due to the Covid-19 Virus closing down a lot of events for performers in our country we have decided to combat the change with a positive solution,” she said.

“We will bring our A-game as entertainers and artists to you live in your home and, on a positive note, being at home, clothing is optional for viewers.

“Let’s connect our homes through this amazing technology, and share with you live music, chats and fun because there is nothing funny about this virus or what it is doing around the world, but that doesn’t mean we can’t have some fun while we are at home.

“Just because we are ‘social distancing’ doesn’t mean we can’t still connect with each other in a live-type online environment.”

Tune in via the Country Kickback Facebook page: HERE and get involved in lifting spirits.
