Yes we all know it’s been a difficult time for the music industry since COVID came to town, but there is a light on the horizon.

Today we announce an amazing line up as part of the Sky Ball concert series being held live in the Dashville paddock, 2-4 October 2020, coinciding with the NSW October Long Weekend 2020.

Whilst the outdoor concert held at Dashville will only feature a small audience of around 200 people socially distanced, an additional component for punters to get excited about is the huge online concert Sky Ball TV.

Featuring a huge wealth of local and regional NSW artist performing on the big stage at Dashville, Sky Ball TV will be a pay to view streamed 6hr epic program, available from 2pm, Sunday 4th of October.

So gather your family and friends and get the backyard arena ready for your own ‘constellation’, The Sky Ball is going to be broadcast across the globe for all to enjoy.

Whilst the event held onsite is almost sold out through existing Gum Ball credit holders, all proceeds raised through the live streamed event will go directly to the artists performing. So it’s a great way to show your support to these wonderful artists actively supporting the industry of which they are a part of.

Sky Ball is a testament to the two mighty Dashville festivals that never happened in 2020, The Gum Ball and Dashville Skyline.

But the event itself is designed to be a sign of hope for a struggling music and events industry battling to stay afloat amidst the COVID pandemic.

With the success of the recent Dashville Nights series, came the vision for how to host the very special 3 day Sky Ball live concert series.

Magpie digresses… ‘When we were ambitiously looking into the requirements of hosting a COVID Safe event, it was June and we were trying to work out how to lay it out. Wondering how the dynamic would work if people couldn’t hang by the fire. So in a sensible brain snap, we decided to give everyone their own small fire basket to sit by and that’s essentially how our now famous ‘party pen’ model started.’

Now 4 weeks out from the long weekend, Sky Ball has evolved into a very viable weekend, with an amazing line up of local and regional NSW artists, ready to create some pretty awesome memories to share with both the 200 people onsite and the rest of the world through Sky Ball TV!
