Western Australia’s beloved rock outfit Death By Denim return in 2025 with a bold new single, ‘Ketamine Dream’, out today; a track that hits like ketamine for your headphones – disorienting, euphoric and unexpectedly healing.

“Buckle up for a wild ride,” the band says. “This is a song written about an intense trip with ketamine infusion therapy. It’s a hazy rock and roll soundscape set against a driving beat, filled with many twists and turns – both dark and euphoric – to reflect the unconventional healing experience.”
Alongside today’s release, Death By Denim also rip the veil off their third studio album Ladybug, set for release mid-November – a collection born from the band’s journey through, and triumph over, a difficult chapter.
Fresh from a powerhouse year of touring across Australia, New Zealand and the UK alongside Great Gable and The Terrys, Death By Denim have spent 2025 quietly crafting a darker, cinematic rock sound, one that could be lifted straight from a Tarantino film.
This new chapter finds the band returning to their rock ’n’ roll roots with raw energy and a vulnerable edge. Ladybug reflects personal struggles and triumphs that shaped the past year, capturing the cathartic process of moving through pain into renewal.
