Perth indie outfit Death By Denim are back with their first release for 2024. An absolute belter of a track, they return with a rockier sound – think if Arctic Monkeys and King Gizzard had a love child – which landed a first play on triple j Drive.

Discussing the track, “Initially, Party Favours was written as a more slower and groovy track which we have become known for over the past few years but we wanted to flip it on its head and come out with something that people may not have expected from us. After listening to very early Arctic Monkeys as well as Amyl and the Sniffers we decided that heavier riffs, a far quicker tempo and more energetic vocals was the direction to go with and we could not be happier with the result.”

Death by Denim understand the current cozzie livs crisis and have decided to gift their fans with the ‘Free For All’ tour, meaning every show is FREE so no one misses out! The band comment, “in this day and age when it costs so much just to buy some cabbage we thought we’d help out in a tiny little way”
They recently wrapped their first international shows supporting The Terry’s in New Zealand and are about to make their UK debut with shows in support of Great Gable this May.

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
